Hampshire based editorial food and portrait photographer

Working from the Hampshire/ Surrey border, Paul is an experienced, collaborative and creative photographer with a keen eye for detail, an outgoing personality and a sharp sense of humour. Concentrating on editorial food and portraiture, he is multi-skilled and happy to apply his talents to a variety of different commissions.

After proudly inheriting his uncle’s SLR in the early 1990s, Paul developed his skills in photography, later deciding to pursue his love of imaging by formally study the medium, culminating in an Honours degree in Photomedia from Salisbury College. After graduating, Paul combined his love of food and photography with his new found technical grounding, gaining experience with food stylists, home economists, various restaurants/caterers and artisan food producers.

As a passionate Martial Artist for over 30 years, Paul has had access to different Martial Arts organisations and has accumulated a portfolio of editorial style images that have been used to promote local clubs and national associations. This fuelled his passion for editorial portraits and drove him to shooting editorial projects with local hair and beauty salons, a charity calendar for a group of female rally drivers, ‘The Gravel Girls”, in Aid of the Wales Air Ambulance and various bands and singer songwriters.

His clients include: Activision/ Lucas Arts, Apu Magazine, Finland, BBC/Open University, Bright Bricks, Corel UK, Georgina Von Etzdorf LTD, Missing Ingredient @ Pinewood Studios.
